Design and construction of a 54 m high
Telecommunication Tower with three
aerial platforms and separate base building
in the north town area of Stuttgart.
Because of this exposed location it was
essential to find a slender design.

• Reinforced concrete foundation as a
  1.2 m thick hexagon panel with 5 m
  diameter
• Tower shaft as a conical tapering
  octagon steel section with a maximum
  diameter of 1.2 m and a total
  height of 54 m
• Structural analysis with the use of
  deflection theory and special analysis
  of the transverse oscillations
